Anterior/Universal Instrumentation

I finished my class 1b exam today in one setting which surprized me. I feel that I am picking up my speed, but this is still an area that I need to work on. I also feel that I need to work on organization too. I passed of both universal/anterior instrumentation PE today. I hope that my patient for Wednesday is a class 1b and that I finish up on her, it would be nice to do sealants on her as well. My goal Wednesday is to finish with her and place sealants as well.

Clinic Yesterday

I passed off my Ultrasonic Instrumentation PE and My sealant PE yesterday. I felt that I got a lot accomplished for me. I still feel that I need to keep on practicing on my typodont probing and scaling. Over the spring break, I did practice. Tommorrow's clinic my goal is to pass off Anterior Instrumentation and Universal Instrumentation PE. I do think that I have picked up my speed a little, but I will still keep on working on my pace.

Removable appliance

Today I completed the removable appliance PE. I cleaned my grandma's dentures which was a lot of fun because I had not seen her without her teeth in awhile. I took my first panoramic film today on my sister, she needs to have her wisdom teeth extracted. Instructor Skeen helped me with the pano because I couldn't remember how to do it from last semester. I wanted to pass off my intraoral camera pe and diagodent pe, but wasn't able to. So maybe next week I will be able to. I know that I still need to pass off my anterior instrument pe next week also.
